What is the egg rate today in India?+
The NECC national average egg rate today is shown at the top of this page, updated daily. Rates differ by market — a tray of 30 eggs typically varies by ₹15–25 between the cheapest and costliest cities.
What is the NECC egg rate?+
NECC is the National Egg Co-ordination Committee. It publishes a suggested egg price for each major Indian market every day. The rate is advisory — traders and retailers are free to sell above or below it.
How many eggs are in a tray and a peti?+
A tray holds 30 eggs. A peti (also called a case or box) holds 210 eggs — seven trays. Wholesale trade is usually quoted per 100 pieces or per peti.
